Child care is available for infants and toddlers during Sunday School and Worship in the Purple Room.
Child care for ages 3 to Kindergarten is provided in orange room during Worship.

"Common Threads" Sunday Morning Class: Sundays, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Dr. Jim Rigby's Tuesday Morning Bible Study: Tuesdays, 10:00 AM
"Theology in Everyday Life" meets on the first and third Monday nights of the month. Meetings run from 7:15 PM until 8:30 PM.
- These are not lectures but discussions about articles, current events, poems, movies, sermons, art, excerpts from books and other sources.
- An individual chooses the topic and then becomes the facilitator for the next meeting.
- Participation averages from six to eight people which allows everyone time to contribute their opinion and thoughts.
"The Spirituality/Activism Book Study Group" will meet on Sunday, November 11, at 5:30 p.m. at Poiema.
- On November 11, Marilyn Plummer will lead the study of chapters 3 and 4 of Living Buddha, Living Christ by Thich Nhat Han.
- The next gathering will take place on the third Sunday in January.
- Please come for at meal at Poiema at 5:30 PM. The book study takes place from 7 to 8 PM.

"The Spiritual Activism Discussion Group" meets on the second and fourth Monday's of each month at 7:15 PM..
- The current discussion is of David Korten's The great Turning: from Empire to Earth Community.
- This book can be ordered from the Open Minds Bookstore. It has been described as "perhaps the single best work now available on the roots of major socio-economic and ecological problems threatening the sustainability of civilized life on this planet, and on why the solution to these problems must involve spiritual maturity".
- Group discussion will be facilitated by Oliver Markley.
"Insight Meditation" Weekly sessions are held every Thursday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church.
- Insight Meditation, which is practiced at these sessions, is a centering technique to quiet the mind and emotions by focusing on the breath and the body sensations.
- Special instruction for beginners will be provided prior to the session at 6:30 PM.
